Interested In Helping Us Find Old Classmates?

One sort of roundabout way to try to locate our many missing classmates is to try to contact the colleges they attended. As we all know, college alumni offices are absolute masters at tracking people down .. to ask for money. If you're an alum of a particular college, they will immediately give you contact info for fellow alums of the same college. Most colleges have set up their own website for this, but it's also easy to do by just contacting the alumni office and properly identifying yourself.

If you did not graduate from a particular school, however, my understanding is that alumni offices are very tight about giving out such info. My understanding is that if you write them a nice, proper letter, then they will probably send you the contact info via mail.

Where did our classmates attend college? With almost cosmic foresight, the June 9, 1966 issue of Chief Chat, the last issue of our senior year, included a person-by-person listing with this info. Geoff Jacobs cut and pasted one together and I am providing a link to this in .pdf format. You'll note in the intro to the listing, the article states, "In order to aid students who wish to know were their classmates will be located, Chief Chat has compiled a list indicating the seniors' future plans." Little did the writers know that we'd be using this list 40 years later to assemble again.
