As customary, when you completed the 1000th landing of DASH there was a ceremony
and such was the case on USS PUTNAM (DD-757), on 28 March 1966, on PUTNAM's DASH
DECK at Destroyer-Submarine Piers, Norfolk, VA. It was held to honour LT. (j.g.)
Frank Rogozienski's completion of 1000 landings within 10 months and 50 flight
hours.
